Obituary for Harold Lavonne Williamson

Funeral services will be at Crestwood Funeral Home on Wednesday September 20, 2017 for Harold LaVonne (Willie) Williamson 82 of Gadsden, Al who died September 17, 2017. Those officiating will be Rev. Burt Miller, elder Myron Allenstein and brother-in-law Pastor Terry Cashmer. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery, Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Harold AKA Von to family and Willie to friends will be remembered as a quick witted good natured kind man. Loved by all and will be dearly missed. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was a Christian and a member of Church of the Holy Spirit.

He was preceded in death by parents, Obie and Hazel Williamson, sister, Barbara (Art) Briggs, brother, Ben (Dorothy) Williamson, son-in-law, Tommy Hill.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Sharon Cecilia Williamson, children; Lorie Williamson Hill, LaVonne (Carmen) Williamson Jr., Lisa Williamson (Greg) Plano, Lance (Toni) Williamson, grandchildren; Jared (Jamie) Williamson, Kayla Williamson, Joshua Williamson, Deven (Jennifer) Williamson, Sharon Plano, great-grandchildren; Tristen Cox, Taylor Barber, Kami Williamson, Kensie Williamson, Eli Williamson, brother, Pat (Donna)Williamson, sister, Myra Williamson(Jim) Pitman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Oak Ranch (bigoak.org).
Honorary Pallbearers are all friends from Good Year.
