Obituary for
Harry Frank Moon
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Harry Moon, age 87, of Gallant who died Thursday. Reverends Ricky Smith and Man Watkins will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Moon was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and was a Navy Veteran with over 20 years of service. He loved traveling and was ready to go anywhere, anytime.
He will be remembered as a very patient easy going man who never complained and loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends and will be dearly missed. He was a Christian and attended Carnes Chapel and North Gadsden Baptist to worship.
He is preceded in death by wife Frances Collins Moon, son Joseph Collins, grandson Charles Watkins, and parents Walter and Mamie Imo Moon
He is survived by children Sue (Sherrell) Tolton, James “Hot Rod” (Charlene) Collins, Yevonne(Tommy) Green, Martha(Man) Watkins, Larry Collins, Rat (Tammy) Collins, Regina (Jeff) Baty, 20 grandchildren, and he was blessed with more great grandchildren then he could count.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 am until the time of service.
