Obituary for
James Roy Williamson
Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday at First United Methodist of Rainbow City for Mr. “J.R.” Williamson age 88 of Rainbow City who died Monday. Reverend Brandon Harris will officiate .Entombment will be in Forestlawn Mausoleum Anniston Alabama. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Williamson retired from CSX Railroad with over 22 years of service. He was a veteran of The United States Air Force and served in the Army Reserves before being called to active duty serving in Korea. He was a Mason for 54 years and a member of First United Methodist Church of Rainbow City for over 40 years. He was a loving husband ,father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by parents Henry and Anna Williamson.
He is survived by wife Jean,3 daughters ,7 grandchildren ,11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family.
