Obituary for
Ausbon Smith
Graveside service will be at 11 am Monday, February 6, 2017 at Crestwood Cemetery for Ausbon Smith, age 90 of Hokes Bluff, who died Friday, February 03, 2017. Reverend Steve Baccus will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home will be in charge of service. Mr. Smith worked for Goodyear 43 years and served in the Navy during WWII.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Treva Sewell Smith, parents, Arthur and Hattie Smith, sister, Dorothy Fletcher Noel, brothers; Gwin and Carl Smith, brother-n-law Charles Starr.
He is survived by his son Scott (Tina) Smith, grandsons; Jared Smith and Zachary Smith, nephew Rick (Ellen) Flecher, sister-n-law Martha Starr, niece, Charlean Starr, special friends, Donaleen Marbut, Catherine (Cat) Marbut, Daryl and Shirley Marbut, Jack Phillips, Larry Hawkins.
Pallbearers will be Jared Smith, Zachary Smith, Daryl Marbut, Johnny Hayes, Johnny Mayhall, Chuch Tomlinson, Jeff (Hop) Bryant.
