Obituary for Treva Mae Smith (Sewell)

Crypt side services will be today at 11 am today for Mrs. Treva Mae Sewell Smith of Hokes Bluff who died Sunday. Brother Steve Baccus will officiate . Entombment will be in Crestwood Mausoleum. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Smith of Hokes Bluff graduated Hokes Bluff High School Class of 1949.She was a longtime member of Hokes Bluff First United Methodist Church. She retired from Dr. Don Goodall where she was a dental assistant for more than 30 years. She had a passion for helping people. Her love for her twin grandsons Zach and Jared was surpassed only by her love for her husband of 67 years Ausbon.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jess and Nellie Sewell, brother Lavane Sewell and brother in law Charles R. Starr.
She is survived by her husband Ausbon D. Smith, son Scott(Tina) Smith, grandsons Jared Smith and Zach Smith, sister Martha Starr ,nieces Charlean Starr,Tannis Hinton, nephews, Lex Sewell, Steve Sewell and Todd Sewell. Special friends Donalean Marbut, Catherine”Cat” Marbut, Daryl and Shirley Marbut.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Mayhall, Johnny Hayes, Jeff “Hop” Bryant and Chuck Tomlinson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HokesBluff First United Methodist Church Backpack fund.
Special Thanks to caretakers Teresa Clark, Glenda French, Rachel Green, Nancy Newton, Martha Reeves, Tena Haney and Joan Reynolds also to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice, Jeremy Green, Jessica Stanley and special thanks to Tish Burgess and Tyler Pence, Drs. Daryl Prime, Sathyen Iyer, Warren and Junkins.
The family requests friends meet crypt side for the 11 am service.
